The train was late to leave - the engineer from the train from Prince Rupert, had to have a 10 hour break. The train left at 10am. We were able to leave our luggage with Steven at the station and go for a bit of a walk around town. When we came back Steven was chatting to a young mum and helping keep her little baby girl amused. The gentleman he is he carried her pram for her into her carriage and then came back to ours.

The clock tower in the Prince George Civic Centre.
Still lower hills. The majority of the scenery was trees both sides so not always a lot to see.

Skeena Crossing.
The higher mountains started to come back as we travelled along. Later in the day/evening it started to rain so the mist was also settling in.

We kept our eyes peeled for bears or moose but unfortunately didn't see any. We did see some deer.
The train was late to get into Prince Rupert, about 11pm so 13 Hrs on the train. The main reason - apart from starting 2 Hrs late, were the freight trains - very long & sidings all over the place that we had to go onto to let them go by. It was sprinkling heavily when we came into the station so a quick run to the coach that took us the 5 min ride to the hotel.
