Travelling by train - VIA Rail this morning, from Jasper to Prince George.
There was a lot of low cloud around.
The train.- we boarded at 11:30 & left at 12, so we had been able to have a sleep in this morning.
There were still high mountains surrounding the train line.
The lounge car that led to a covered domed viewing area - this is where we spent most of our time - more legroom :P Also easier to look out a vista of windows rather than sitting close to one window. The domed viewing was not as high as the Rocky Mountaineer so not as comfortable for the boys either.
The high mountains were replaced with lower hills.
Arrived at 8:30. John went for a quick walk before it got dark but Dawn was still 'travelling' as it is a similar feeling to 'sea-legs' and you end up with 'train legs'.
