13-07-2013 Saturday - Sydney_Korea_Vancouver

Friday 12-07-2013,Dawn & Steven were dropped at the Rydges at the Airport by Kylie Hockley (Dawn's sister-in-law) about 1130Hrs. John finished work & caught a train in - arriving about 1830Hrs. We had dinner at the restaurant, it ended up being free, the meal was cool & late.

After a bad night's sleep, too soft pillows & too hot, got up at 0430Hrs. Checked in, went through customs & TRS, had a Macca's breakfast & waited to be boarded - the plane ended up being 15 mins late to board.

Slightly foggy Sydney

On the flight - a number of movies each, breakfast & lunch ~10Hrs - arrived at Icheon Korea (unable to sleep very well at all - seats too low for Steven & John). Went through the transfer checks & a long walk to the next departure lounge - another 15mins late. Overall Korean Air good service, interesting new foods to try and flights not too bad.

On the flight - a number of movies each, Dinner & breakfast ~10Hrs - arrived at Vancouver Canada (unable to sleep too well again). We were met by Andrew & Lindsay :)

Deep Cove

A bit of a scenic drive back to Deep Cove area where we are staying across from the Raffa's house (Lindsay's parents). Went in and had lunch with David & Louise Raffa & met Rachel, another of their daughters.

Dropped the bags off & met Brenda & Mick our hosts for our stay in Vancouver, had showers & freshened up a bit.

Went back to the Raffa's for dinner.  David & Louise then had to go to the airport and pick up Carmen, Lindsay's other sister so all the family were together again.
